Ken Shaw of Soaring Eagle Pictures
Soaring Eagle Pictures, an Independent FIlm Company
Kenneth has worked in the film
and television industry for over
20 years. Technology has
changed but there is one thing
that hasn’t - and that is -
‘Great Storytelling is King’.

Whether it is for film or
television, great storytelling
can be an illusive creature.
However, Kenneth’s
productions capture the art of
creative storytelling before the
cameras roll. The old saying is
true, “If it ain’t on the page, it
ain’t on the stage.”

Kenneth’s productions have
appeared on The NBC Today
Show, NBC Affiliate, WMC-TV5
Memphis, Nickelodean,
Vis-News Int’l and
Charter/Comcast
Networks.

He has directed crews for both
television and film. His
productions have taken him
around the world from Costa
Rica, Israel, Belize, The Czech
Republic, Canada, Europe, and
remote parts of Alaska.

We are currently in
development on four motion
pictures.

Kenneth recently won the Television
Award for Best Program for “America’s
Storytellers” for Charter/Comcast.
Kenneth served both as Director and
Editor.

In July of 2006, Kenneth took Soaring
Eagle Pictures to win “Best Comedy” in
the 48 Hour Film Contest in Nashville. He
shot, directed and edited “Wag On”.

Kenneth most recently received two Telly
Awards for a production which was
produced in the summer of 2006 for the
Medical Industry. He served as producer,
director and editor.

In May of 2007, “Where’s My Close-up Mr.
Thornton?” received Best of Arkansas at
the Little Rock Film Festival. Soaring
Eagle Pictures did the edit at their
Nashville facility. Kenneth also served as
1st Asst. Director for his long time friend,
Tim Jackson who had asked Kenneth for
his assistance with his first film.
